Taco Tuesday!

Taco Seasoning Recipe

Ingredients:

Use a Tbsp. of each of the following ingredients, give or take to taste:
  • Oregano (We used our own, dried from plants grown here at Little Lakeview Conservatory)
  • Himalayan Pink Sea Salt, ground
  • Pepper, ground
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Paprika
  • Chili Powder
  • Cumin
  • Red Pepper Flakes

How to make:

  • Mix all dry ingredients.
  • Make a single batch of Taco Seasoning for a 1lb. of Taco Meat, or multiply the recipe and store for later uses.
  • For Tacos, Cook 1lb. Ground Meat and a diced onion together.
  • Drain the grease from the cooked Meat and Onion Mixture.
  • Add 1/3cup Water and your Taco Seasoning to the Mixture.
  • Serve in Tacos.
For fresh herbs, use immediately. If you have dry herbs or dried herbs you are using for the recipe, keeping a stock of seasoning on hand will keep Taco Tuesday Dinners quick and easy.
